If you passed your driving test after 1997 you have to take a towing test if you are pulling a twin axle trailer like a horse trailers
It is always better to get a bigger engine just because there are those times when you really wish that you had more power to pull that trailer up that wet grassy knoll, or the mud or just a gravel road during wet season.
